Our Story
I became a dog groomer because I am passionate about dogs and because I believe that grooming is as important to the health and welfare of a dog, as diet and exercise are.
Impeccably Groomed was opened in 2013, after I had successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 2 certificate. In 2016 I undertook my City & Guilds Level 3 and passed with Distinctions, as well as my Canine First Aid and Emergency Treatment.
Our Expertise
Continued learning and development are important to me. On my days off, I like to spend time with breeders, exhibitors and judges, of a wide variety of breeds, so that I can continue to gain knowledge and ‘hands-on’ experience from the experts.
Breeds
All breeds are welcomed and catered for in a relaxing, hygienic, home-run salon. An electric grooming table and low opening bath, allow for easy access for large or less mobile dogs. Drying is only done by hand and never in a cage or cabinet.
Sensitive Clients
Nervous or anxious dogs and those whose backgrounds are unknown, i.e. rescue dogs, are managed according to their individual needs. Time is taken, sometimes over weeks and months, to gain their trust and confidence.
Older dogs experience all the same age-related problems as humans, such as poor mobility, hearing and eyesight as well as various medical conditions. I use a wide range of equipment, tools and techniques to help these “oldies” and ensure their comfort throughout the groom.

Every dog that comes into Impeccably Groomed is treated as I treat my own dogs; with kindness, care and patience. I never forget that this is a living, feeling animal and a valued member of your family and unless visiting dogs are from the same family, I only have one dog here at a time.
